How would a developer ever know how to navigate a file in Illustrator? I looked online for tutorials that would cover that and found nothing! Illustrator is meant for designers and there is no explanation of any connection to a developer. While working for the first time designing with Ai, I thought to myself how beneficial this could be for communicating the design elements effectively to the developer, but then came to a sad realization. There are many good reasons why this program is great as a designing tool and can be very helpful in the development process as well. As a designer, I started to fall in love with using Adobe illustrator to create my designs and then send the Ai files over to the developer.
